Josephine D'Istria

Josephine D'Istria joined the Brooklyn Premier Orthopedics management team in 2008 as Executive Director. In this role, Ms. D'Istria is responsible for directing and developing the daily business operations of Brooklyn Premier Orthopedics. She is also responsible for overseeing the management of Newkirk Medical Plaza.

Ms. D'Istria brought over 12 years of Healthcare management experience with her when joining our team. Previously, Ms. D'Istria was Director of Operations at Epic Management Group, a Healthcare management company based in Ronkonkoma, Long Island which specializes in Marketing and Operations management. She was responsible for numerous Radiology centers nationwide including centers in New York, Colorado and Arizona. Ms. D'Istria routinely evaluated client and company sites' business operations to ensure lucrative practices. Ms. D'Istria's experience also includes Operations Management and Quality Analysis for MergeMD, a medical billing company. Prior to this, Ms. D'Istria spent four years with Sonix Medical Resources, a healthcare management company which owns and manages numerous imaging and sleep centers throughout the Northeast region.

Ms. D'Istria earned her undergraduate degree from St. John's University and her graduate degree from Touro College. She believes the most important aspects of a successful medical practice are excellent quality physician care and supreme patient service.
